The hotel was located so close to the next village on and The Cotswolds. The most important was the staff - lovely and helpful people. I had a twin room and it was beautifully decorated and clean with breakfast included. I greatly enjoyed that they had a kettle, central heating, and a work desk.

During my Easter stay, I appreciated the cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms. It was a relief to find a place that allowed me to bring in takeaways and use the microwave to heat up my food. This flexibility was a great advantage, especially after a long day of exploring the nearby attractions. the friendly attitude of the landlord, his family, and the locals made me feel welcome and added to the pleasant atmosphere of the place.
There were a few aspects that dampened my experience. The noise from the road outside was quite noticeable, even with the windows shut.

I didn't want to say goodbye, so can't recommend highly enough this hotel. By and large, it was characterful base for sightseeing in Highworth, had much fun. The room was nicely decorated with breakfast included, and I slept very well.

It had a particularly good location so close to The Cotswolds as well as Faringdon. Also, it was 3 km from Defence Academy Golf Club. The room was beautifully decorated and quiet, had common bathroom.
